A comics artist in my circle tapped me to help with layout on his graphic novel ‘Hipster!’.
To accompany the style of the comics, I designed subtly cartoony interior pages. For the cover, I used the available artwork to create a wrap-around scene. I suggested flooding the back cover with an orange background to juxtapose with the purple front cover.
This project involved printer’s bleeds, typography, and working with pre-existing assets.
